Pauline Marshall

Acrylic

Pauline Marshall retired, moved to Almonte in 2010, and quickly got interested in the art scene in the beautiful town.

“I started painting in 2017 and quickly found that I really enjoyed it.  I wanted to get more serious about painting so I took some courses with local artists (Adrian Baker, Mary Pratt), and read everything I could that would help hone my skills.”

Marshall uses brushes and painting knives to produce vividly coloured, textural art in acrylics, painting mostly flowers, landscapes and still lives.

Over the last few years, she was fortunate to display and sell her art at restaurants in Carleton Place and in Almonte, and has been a participant in the Crown & Pumpkin Studio Tour as well as local Fairs.
