Danielle Dewick

A graduate of Fine Arts from Sir George Williams University (now Concordia), I taught high school art classes for 38 years, starting on the South Shore of Montreal and finishing my career at A.Y.Jackson S.S. in Kanata.

Before moving to Ontario, I took one year of Ceramic Technology at John Abbott College. After retiring, I set up a pottery studio, complete with wheel and kilns, in my home. As well as producing functional work, I sculpt and make wall plaques out of paper clay. These are bisque fired and painted with acrylics.

Having loved Life Drawing at university, I now do Life Drawing and Costume Drawing at the Kanata Art Club. My preferred medium, at present, is soft pastel.
