Growing up in Muskoka, there was a very diverse group of artists ranging from photography to chainsaw wood carving and back to the softness of watercolours. Within my own family, there was an oil painter (my grandfather), a woodworker (my father) and a wood carver (my brother), so it’s no surprise that I should develop an interest in some form of art.
After raising a family, I had the time to devote to my passions of Tatting and more recently Mosaic Glass pieces. As my collection grew, I began to participate in several area events such as Calabogie Summer Markets and Mississippi Valley Textile Museum Fibrefest as well as other smaller events.
Spring 2026 was the first time, as a new member, that I participated in “Art in the Attic” and I found it to be a wonderful experience and look forward to more such events.
